Front Range Youth Empowerment

The traditional college path isn't for everyone, yet many young people face limited access to alternative education and career resources. FRYE was founded to bridge this gap and create opportunities for students to thrive in high-demand fields without the stigma or financial barriers that often come with non-traditional routes.

Why FRYE?

The traditional college path isn’t for everyone, yet many young people face limited access to alternative education and career resources. FRYE was founded to bridge this gap and create opportunities for students to thrive in high-demand fields without the stigma or financial barriers that often come with non-traditional routes.

The Need We Address:

  • Insufficient Financial Literacy: Only 20% of Colorado school districts offer financial literacy electives, leaving many students unprepared for financial independence.

  • Skilled Trades Shortage: Industries like construction, HVAC, electrical work, and IT struggle to find qualified talent, creating immense opportunities for young people.

  • Stigma Around Non-College Paths: Many students feel overlooked if they don’t attend a four-year institution, limiting their access to career-building resources.

Our Unique Approach

  • Hands-On Skill Building: Vocational, technical, and entrepreneurial workshops and certifications.

  • Mentorship & Guidance: One-on-one matching with industry professionals to guide youth into stable careers.

  • Inclusive Community: Programs designed to empower youth from all backgrounds, particularly those historically underserved.
